CCSD School Board Election: Only Districts D, F and G Are on the Nov. 3 Ballot (Las Vegas Strip News)

Only three of the seven elected seats on the Clark County School District Board of Trustees are on the Nov. 3 general election ballot: Districts D, F and G. Each contest is nonpartisan and carries a four-year term, and voters see only the trustee race for the district where they live. Families in Districts A, B, C and E will not find a school board contest on their ballot this cycle.

The Clark County Election Department's official list of contests and candidates, in ballot order, shows District D as David Gomez and Brenda Zamora; District F as Irene Bustamante Adams and Robert E. Hutchinson; and District G as Paul Casey and Linda P. Cavazos. Nevada law does not permit write-in candidates in these contests, according to the county's election guide, so the choice on the ballot is between the two printed names in each district.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and any registered Clark County voter may vote at any vote center in the county from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The CCSD student calendar marks Nov. 3 as a Staff Development Day, so there is no school for students that day. Voters can confirm which trustee district covers their home address and view a sample ballot through Clark County Registered Voter Services at ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.
