The valley closes Monday clear at 69.7 degrees. Tuesday's voters get the week's coldest start so far at 49.4 before a 68.1 afternoon, Wednesday dawn is colder still at 46.2 — and there is no rain anywhere in the seven-day feed.

Las Vegas Weather: 69.7 on Monday Evening — Election Day Dawns at 49.4, and SEMA Week Runs Dry From Fence to Fence (Las Vegas Strip News)

Las Vegas stood at 69.7 degrees under a clear sky on Monday evening, feeling like 63.6, according to the station's live Open-Meteo feed read by the desk. Monday's high was 69.8 after a low of 54, and the precipitation column reads zero — as it does for every day in the seven-day outlook.

Election Day splits in two. Tuesday starts at 49.4 degrees, cold enough for jackets in the 7 a.m. vote-center lines, and climbs to 68.1 by the afternoon with no weather to interfere with the county's biggest civic day. Wednesday then posts the week's coldest morning at 46.2 before a 71.4 afternoon, and Thursday opens much warmer at 61.7 on its way to 68.9.

The dry run covers the valley's biggest trade-show week without interruption: Friday runs 73.8, Saturday 72.9 and Sunday 73.4, all under clear or near-clear skies. For SEMA Show crowds moving between the convention center and the Strip, and for voters, workers and watchers on Tuesday, the forecast is the simplest kind of news — nothing in it needs a plan B.
