The Las Vegas Raiders are 4-4. Kirk Cousins threw three touchdown passes and ran for a fourth, Matt Gay hit a 53-yard field goal with 27 seconds left, and Jeremy Chinn intercepted the final Hail Mary as Las Vegas beat the New York Jets 38-33 on Sunday — its first win in five games.

The losing streak is over. The Las Vegas Raiders beat the New York Jets 38-33 at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, completing a comeback from 23-14 down at halftime to move to 4-4 and end a four-game skid. Las Vegas scored 17 of the game's final 20 points, took the lead for good on Kirk Cousins' 2-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Nailor with 11:33 left, and sealed it in the final minute.
Cousins finished 19 of 26 for 247 yards with touchdown passes to Brock Bowers — twice, including a 12-yard one-handed score — and to Nailor, plus a 1-yard rushing touchdown. Bowers caught seven passes for 92 yards and two scores, and Dylan Laube's 95-yard kickoff return kept Las Vegas close in a first half the Jets controlled. New York scored on its first six possessions behind Geno Smith (290 yards, two touchdowns), Braelon Allen (147 rushing yards and a touchdown) and Adonai Mitchell (seven catches, 142 yards).
The finish was frantic. Jason Sanders' fourth field goal cut the Raiders' lead to 35-33 with 4:31 left; Las Vegas drove into range and Matt Gay made a 53-yard field goal with 27 seconds left, and Jeremy Chinn intercepted Smith's final Hail Mary. The win came with a defensive warning attached: the Post noted Las Vegas is the first NFL team to allow at least 30 points in five consecutive games since Detroit across 2020-21. Next up is a Week 9 trip to the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium; the Jets, now 2-6, go to Kansas City.
