Las Vegas Weather: 55.9 on Monday Morning, and the Week's Highs Edge Up — 71.1 Today, 72.0 Wednesday, Still Zero Rain

The dry week is holding, and it is warming at the edges. Las Vegas read 55.9 degrees in the early hours of election eve, Monday's high was revised up to 71.1, Wednesday's to 72.0 — and every day in the seven-day feed still carries a rain chance of exactly zero.

Las Vegas Weather: 55.9 on Monday Morning, and the Week's Highs Edge Up — 71.1 Today, 72.0 Wednesday, Still Zero Rain (Las Vegas Strip News)

Monday's numbers moved, but only in one direction. The station's live feed read 55.9 degrees with a feels-like of 46.2 under a clear sky in the early hours, and the day's forecast high now stands at 71.1 degrees with a low of 52.3 — up from the 70.8 the feed carried overnight. The rain chance is 0 percent, as it is on every day of the week ahead. After the wettest stretch of the fall, election week in Las Vegas is a flat line of dry.

The revisions continue into midweek. Wednesday's high was lifted from 70.1 to 72.0 degrees, the warmest reading of the week's first half, and Thursday's rose from 68.0 to 69.2, while Friday eased a touch to 74.3, Saturday to 72.8 and Sunday to 74.4. Overnight lows tell the week's other story: Tuesday starts at 48.4 degrees, the coldest morning in the feed, timed for voters heading to Clark County's 7 a.m. vote-center openings, before lows settle into the low 60s from Wednesday on.

Election Day itself is unchanged and unbothered: a high of 67.7 on Tuesday, a low of 48.4, zero rain, and no wind event anywhere in the seven-day numbers — a quiet contrast with the Sunday gusts that stopped flights at Harry Reid International. For a valley that spent October watching flood watches, the forecast for its biggest civic week of the year is the simplest one it can print: clear, dry, and a degree or two warmer than expected.
