Las Vegas Weather: 62.9 Degrees at Midday Sunday, Rain Still at 95 Percent, Election Day Revised to 69.2 (Las Vegas Strip News)

Sunday's rain is living up to its billing. The station's live weather feed, sourced from Open-Meteo, read 62.9 degrees — feeling like 56.9 — at midday, on the way to a high of 65 with a low of 52, and it holds the day's precipitation chance at 95 percent. The flood watch for the Henderson and Lake Las Vegas area remains in effect until 4 a.m. Monday, on ground already saturated by the second-wettest October on record.

The forecast for the week has shifted cooler since this morning's update. Monday is dry at 70.0 degrees with a 1 percent rain chance, and Election Day Tuesday is now projected dry at 69.2 degrees with no rain — down from the 72.6 degrees the feed showed earlier Sunday. Voters heading to Clark County's vote centers between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. should expect a mild, dry day, cooler than first advertised.

The rest of the week stays dry: 72.4 degrees Wednesday, 67.8 Thursday, 71.3 Friday and 74.2 Saturday, with Sunday the valley's first full day on standard time and an early sunset for the Día de los Muertos festivals running into the evening.
