What Time Do Polls Open on Election Day in Clark County? Vote Centers Run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. — and You Can Use Any One of Them

It is the most-searched question in Nevada politics this week, and Clark County's answer is simple: Election Day vote centers open at 7 a.m. Tuesday and close at 7 p.m., any registered voter can use any of the more than 100 centers, and every center also takes mail ballot drop-offs.

What Time Do Polls Open on Election Day in Clark County? Vote Centers Run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. — and You Can Use Any One of Them (Las Vegas Strip News)

Polls open at 7 a.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, in Clark County, and vote centers stay open until 7 p.m., according to the Clark County Election Department's 2026 General Election Guide read by the desk. Clark County does not assign voters to a single polling place: any registered voter in the county may vote at any Election Day vote center, and the guide lists 136 of them across Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and the rest of the county.

The centers are where Tuesday already lives. According to a line-by-line review of the county list read by the desk, 74 of the 136 centers are Clark County School District campuses — high, middle and elementary schools — and five are library branches. That is one reason the school question travels with the voting question: CCSD lists Tuesday as a Staff Development Day with no school for students, so the buildings can serve as vote centers while classes are out. Some sites use a vote center event tent in the parking lot, marked with an asterisk in the guide.

Every vote center is also a mail ballot drop-off location during voting hours, which is the county's closing instruction for anyone still holding a ballot: do not rely on the mail this late — drop it at a center by 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Election Department's own office in North Las Vegas keeps its 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. drop-off window on Monday. After a two-week early vote that ended with Democrats holding a six-point turnout lead, Tuesday's 12 hours are the whole ballgame — and they start at seven.
