Clark County Seeks Applicants for Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board Seat
One seat on the nine-member board that owns and oversees the valley's NFL and planned MLB stadium projects is open. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Nov. 16, and commissioners appoint on Dec. 1.

Clark County is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board of Directors, the county announced. The nine-member board is responsible for the ownership and oversight of the National Football League stadium project and the Major League Baseball stadium project, according to the county's notice.
The County Commission will fill one seat at its Dec. 1 meeting. The county describes the appointment as a four-year term that runs from Jan. 1, 2027 to Jan. 1, 2030, and board members are not paid. To serve, an applicant must reside within 25 miles of the Clark County Government Center in downtown Las Vegas — the boundary of the Stadium District created by Senate Bill 1 of the 30th Special Session, according to the county's application.
All applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Nov. 16 to be considered, through the county's online portal. The application asks for a letter of interest, a resume and a separate document answering the county's information questions, and the county notes that the application and accompanying materials become public records once received.
