John Washington III Calls the Political System a Joke and Says It Is Time to Question the Entire System (Las Vegas Strip News)

John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, called the political system a joke and said it is time to question the entire system. He asked how long Americans will continue allowing a political system to control their lives, exercise power over them and take their hard-earned money without questioning how that power is being used, he wrote.

John Washington III noted that the country has Democrats and Republicans, two different political parties, but argued that both parties operate under the same political system. Both parties participate in passing laws, collecting taxes, creating regulations and exercising governmental authority over the American people, he wrote, and he asked why so many Americans continue to feel like they are the ones being taken advantage of if both parties are supposed to be fighting for the people.

He asked why Americans argue about Democrats and Republicans instead of questioning the system both parties operate under, and who is really benefiting, who is really being represented and who is actually holding these people accountable. Every election season, he wrote, politicians promise to fight for the people, protect their rights, lower their taxes and change the system — and he asked where the change, the accountability and the fight for the American people are after they get elected, and why the system seems to keep operating the same way regardless of which party holds office.
