The valley cools to 65.1 under a mainly clear sky on Monday night. The feed has sharpened Tuesday's start to 47.8 degrees for the 7 a.m. vote-center lines, Wednesday still opens coldest at 46.2 — and there is still no rain anywhere in the seven days.

Las Vegas Weather: 65.1 on Monday Night — Election Day Dawns Colder at 47.8, and the Dry Run Holds All Week (Las Vegas Strip News)

Las Vegas stood at 65.1 degrees, feeling like 59.5, under a mainly clear sky on Monday night, according to the station's live Open-Meteo feed read by the desk. Monday closes with a high of 69.9 and a low of 54.2, and the precipitation column reads zero — as it does for every day in the outlook.

Election Day's start has gotten colder since the afternoon read. Tuesday now dawns at 47.8 degrees — down from the 49.4 the feed carried earlier Monday — before climbing to 68.1, so the voters in the 7 a.m. lines get the chilliest morning of the week so far and the afternoon electorate gets shirtsleeve weather. Wednesday then posts the week's coldest low at 46.2 ahead of a 71.3 afternoon, and Thursday's low jumps all the way to 60.5 on the way to 68.5 — a fourteen-degree swing in the valley's overnight floor in two days.

Past midweek the pattern simply holds: Friday runs 73.7, Saturday 72.3 and Sunday 73.0, all dry. For a week carrying an election, the SEMA Show's four days at the convention center and a Grand Prix build gathering pace, the forecast remains the valley's least complicated story — cold starts, warm afternoons, and nothing falling out of the sky.
