NHRA Las Vegas Nationals: Sunday Eliminations Start at 11 A.M. at The Strip, With Titles on the Line
The MOPAR NHRA Las Vegas Nationals powered by Dodge conclude Sunday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: eliminations from 11 a.m., finals at 4:40 p.m., and FS1 coverage of eliminations at 5 p.m. Eastern — the fifth round of the Countdown with one race left after this weekend.

Championship Sunday has arrived at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Final eliminations at the MOPAR NHRA Las Vegas Nationals powered by Dodge begin at 11 a.m. Pacific on Sunday, with the second round at 1:20 p.m., the semifinals at 3:15 p.m. and the finals at 4:40 p.m. Television coverage on FS1 carries the qualifying show at 3 p.m. Eastern followed by eliminations at 5 p.m. Eastern.
Saturday's No. 1 qualifiers lead the fields into Sunday: Shawn Langdon in Top Fuel, Jack Beckman in Funny Car, Dallas Glenn in Pro Stock and Gaige Herrera in Pro Stock Motorcycle. Glenn arrived in Las Vegas as the Pro Stock points leader with momentum on his side, chasing a second consecutive world title at the track where he won last season. In Funny Car, Matt Hagan brought the points lead into the weekend at 2,503, with the field chasing him through Beckman, who starts Sunday from the No. 1 spot.
The Las Vegas event is the 19th of 20 races in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season and the fifth round of the six-race Countdown to the Championship, so every round win Sunday moves the title math before the Pomona finale. The weekend also crowns world champions in several Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and Summit Racing Series categories. Sunday's program includes pre-race ceremonies and the SealMaster Track Walk before the first pair fires at 11 a.m.
