Las Vegas Weather: The Storm Is Gone — Monday Dawns Dry at 70, and Election Day Is Dry Too (Las Vegas Strip News)

The wettest stretch of the fall is over. After a Sunday that carried a 95 percent rain chance, severe thunderstorm warnings and a high of just 66.2, the station's live weather feed read 59.4 degrees under clear skies on Sunday night, with a feels-like of 52.7 — the first fully dry night the valley has had in days. Monday's streets will still be drying in the morning, so the early commute asks for the usual post-storm care around debris and dark signals, but no new rain is coming to replace what fell.

Monday itself is the reset day: a high of 70.3 degrees, a morning low of 50.3 and a 0 percent rain chance. Election Day Tuesday follows the same script — dry, a high of 69.2 and a chilly start at 47.4, the coldest morning of the week, which is worth a jacket for anyone heading to a vote center when the polls open at 7 a.m. Nothing in the feed interrupts the pattern after that.

The rest of the week is dry end to end: Wednesday 71.4, Thursday 67.8, Friday 72.3 and Saturday 74.1, with a 0 percent rain chance on every line of the feed. Overnight lows climb back into the low 60s by midweek after Tuesday morning's dip. For a valley that spent the weekend under flood watches and thunderstorm warnings, the forecast ahead is the simplest one of the season: sun, mild afternoons, and no rain to plan around.
