The eve-of briefing from City Hall: Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar and Mayor Shelley Berkley said more than 730,000 ballots are already in statewide. For everyone else, Tuesday is the last chance — any of Clark County's 138 vote centers, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day in Las Vegas: 138 Vote Centers Open 7 to 7 Tuesday — and More Than 730,000 Nevadans Have Already Voted (Las Vegas Strip News)

Tuesday, Nov. 3, is Election Day for Nevada's 2026 general election, and the numbers officials carried into Monday afternoon's briefing outside Las Vegas City Hall say most of the state has already spoken: Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar and Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley said more than 730,000 ballots had already been cast statewide, with Clark County's early voting having run Oct. 17-30 at 95 sites. For voters who have not cast a ballot yet, Tuesday is the whole ballgame.

The mechanics are the county's most flexible of the cycle. Clark County opens 138 Election Day vote centers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and any registered voter in the county can use any of them, no matter where they live or what precinct they are in — Allegiant Stadium is again one of the larger sites. Anyone already in line at 7 p.m. will still be allowed to vote. Same-day registration is available at vote centers with an unexpired Nevada driver's license, DMV ID card, DMV interim document or Nevada tribal ID, and same-day registrants vote a provisional ballot. Mail voters have 181 drop-off locations, every vote center has a drop box, and ballot status and signature-cure notices can be checked through the Secretary of State's site at nvsos.gov/vivid.

What they are voting on is a long ballot: 142 contests, 254 candidates and four ballot questions — two statewide and two in Boulder City. The county posts results after 7 p.m. Expect extra traffic and fuller parking lots around busy vote centers at lunch and after 5 p.m., and more activity than usual downtown, where City Hall hosts an election gathering Tuesday around Main Street and Lewis Avenue. Questions about mail ballots go to the county at 702-455-VOTE (8683).
