Judge Extends the Desert Breeze Voter-Protection Order Through Election Day in Clark County
A Clark County judge kept the restraining order aimed at alleged voter intimidation outside the Desert Breeze vote center in place on Monday and extended it through Tuesday's Election Day — one entrance, a single walkway, and a number to call if anything crosses the line.

District Judge Joe Hardy on Monday kept in place a temporary restraining order aimed at alleged voter intimidation outside the Desert Breeze Community Center vote center in the southwest valley, and extended it through Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The order grows out of a complaint the ACLU of Nevada filed late Thursday, Oct. 29; Judge Hardy first issued the emergency order on Friday, Oct. 30, the last day of in-person early voting — the buffer this station reported in SQ-20261031-015 — and Monday's ruling carries the protection across the finish line of the election.
Desert Breeze remains a working vote center throughout. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, and Clark County voters can vote at any vote center in the county, Desert Breeze included. Anyone voting there should expect one entrance, a single walkway and possibly a line — the physical shape the order is designed to keep calm and clear.
Voters who see intimidation at any polling place can tell a poll worker or call the Clark County Election Department at 702-455-VOTE (8683). With 138 vote centers opening Tuesday morning, Desert Breeze is the one carrying a judge's order into Election Day — and, after Monday's extension, it will carry that order for every hour the polls are open.
